Cbank: Russia’s gold reserves rise 0.56% to 2,243 tns in Sep
MOSCOW, Oct 18 (PRIME) -- Russia’s gold reserves, part of the country’s international reserves, increased 0.56% in September to 72.1 million ounces, or 2,242.56 tonnes, as of October 1, according to data of the central bank seen by PRIME on Friday.
The value of gold reserves fell 1.49% in September to U.S. $107.856 billion as of October 1. The share of gold in Russia’s foreign exchange and gold reserves decreased to 20.31% from 20.69%.
In 2018, gold reserves rose 14.89% to 67.9 million ounces, or 2,111.93 tonnes.
